Travel

For tours to Bordeaux, Languedoc, the Rhone Valley and Alsace, flights will be taken by budget airline to local French airports. (These will not be included in the price quoted.)

For tours of 20 or more people, coach travel is included and we only use executive coaches offering excellent comfort.

Coaches are equipped with drink making facilities, toilet, air conditioning, reclining seats and video. We prefer to take smaller parties and the coach is never full. This enables plenty of room to move about or to snooze in peace! Of course this also allows for a generous wine allowance per person.

We usually choose to use the Channel Tunnel Shuttle to get to Calais, this way we are assured of keeping to our departure and arrival times wherever possible and depending on the traffic. However ferry crossing can also be organised.

We do have meal and comfort stops on both the outward and returning journeys. We do however suggest you pack drinks and snacks for the outward journey.
